This 52min documentary is a vibrant tribute to Sámi culture. We explore their quest to reinvent their identity while preserving their rich heritage. We hear their stories, witness their unique way of life, and discover their profound connection with nature.

This work began in 2020, as a challenge to my established photographic practice, focusing on precise subjects and technical control. Stripping back to the essentials, I set about dismantling my longstanding certainties one by one. This evolving journey, now spanning hundreds of images, becomes a peephole to our time.
